Educator Membership

ThinkLA Educator Membership is ideal for instructors in the fields of advertising, marketing, communications, public relations, media, interactive, production services and related fields.


For educators who would like to purchase event tickets at the member price and signed up for the ThinkLA newsletter.

Fine Print: To cancel your membership and receive a full refund, please contact our office in writing at membership@thinkla.org within 30 days after processed payment. No refunds will be issued if the membership was active within the 30-day cancelation period. "Active" includes, but is not limited to the actions listed below.

Membership Refund Policy

New memberships are subject to an administrative fee equal to 10% of annual dues. Memberships are given a 30 day grace period from the date of expiration. Memberships that are not renewed within the 30 day grace period will be considered lapsed and are subject to a reinstatement fee equal to 10% of annual dues. E.g. a new professional membership will pay $275 the first year and $250 all subsequent years, provided the membership is kept current.


Student/Educator memberships: Available to full-time students or educators only.


Membership is valid for one full year from date of purchase.


Cancellation Policy: Member must cancel with-in 30 days of membership to receive a full refund. After 30 days from submission approved members can only transfer membership to another employee (subject to a $35 transfer fee). No refunds after 30 days.
